Candace joined Aurora Family Medicine Center in 2018. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado Boulder and began working in a research lab her senior year. After graduating, she continued to work in the Integrative Physiology of Aging Laboratory for another 5 years where she helped coordinate clinical research studies aimed at improving healthspan, not just lifespan in middle aged and older adults. She then earned her Master's Degree from the Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program at the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. During her medical training, she grew to love working with patients of all ages and decided Family Medicine would be the best fit for her. Candace has a passion for preventative medicine and also took a great interest in women’s health during her training at CU. She is accredited through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Outside of work, Candace enjoys camping, boating, waterskiing, hunting, fishing, hiking, snowboarding, playing the piano and cheering on the Buffs, Avs and Broncos.
